Our 4 bed bunk room was pretty comfy  I chose the upper bunk so I could be awoken when my snoring was too loud.  We soon had neighbors who later also snored.  Michelle was kind enough to awaken me only when my snoring was unique.  I eventually found myself awaking myself thinking I was being probed.  Eek, I need a private room to offset this fear of disturbing others.

Our bunk neighbors were very considerate in the morning as we packed for the net day.  Breakfast and future food was easily ordered from our hosts.  This day had a hard uphill beginning.  We planned a taxi ride to get over it.   Our host indicated it was 30 Euros with a 20 minute wait.  Sadly it wound up being closer to 50.  Oh well.

Our route to Burgos could follow the tradition Urban Camino route or alternative that was 4 KM longer alongside the airport and major river.  It seemed a majority of pilgrims followed this same route.  It wound up being a Spanish Holiday so our trip encountered a huge number of locals encoring a beautiful day.  The Buen Camino's were highly abundant from happy Spanish enjoying some time off.

We arrived in town many hours before our check in time.  This gave us some great picture taking chances, time to gather yummy supplies and chill alongside the river.  Our 4 PM check-in was super easy and soon we were relaxing in a 2 night stay we really needed.

It was a Spanish Holiday so the locals were out and about.  No grocery stores were open.  Even the helpful shops were limited in supply.  Thankfully we found an open Doner place for a riverside lunch.  We later went back to the same place for our future dinner.  It was nice to have vegetables for a chance.

Michelle and I immediately booked a few days into the future.  I looked like some future dates we going to be a bit challenging to find a place.  It's kind of tiring doing all the planning for just a few days and fighting with booking.  Once that was done we were able to feast and chill.  Rain was coming tomorrow so were were fortunate enough to have a washer and a few hours of drying sun.
