I had some time to properly search out this hike.  Thankfully a starting point was not far from our Hotel.  We climbed up on a few familiar streets and soon were face with the entry.  Unfortunately for us, the signage is still foreign to us.  Although we followed a dog walker it was quickly unclear which way we were too walk  This area has an overabundance of crossing trails with no signage.  I decided to follow the river as a reference.  Eventually the river became absent.  As a Hail Mary pass I opened the AllTrails App and found a Canada del Lobo route,  OMG this was so helpful.  https://www.alltrails.com/trail/spain/malaga/canada-del-lobo

From this point forward we were on track to the Wolf.  I do understand that this is a route written by a member of the public.  It may not have been perfect, but it got us both to the end and back home.  The route was awesome, sure it was a slow grind up but at least it was not a blank hard road.  We were shaded and enjoying foliage all the way up.  Eventually we hit a few grindy switch backs that needed commitment.  We need to keep on our toes for runners and electrified mountain bike riders descending these same trails.

We pulled aside for a mountain bike rider in a pretty sketchy area and warned him to be careful as the rocks he was to pass made a pretty easy hospital visit.  He had to unclip and walk.  Wise move my friend.

We were only 1 KM from the top and were soon at the Wolf.  We were surprised at the number of non hikers up here enjoying the day.  As there are a few routes in, I suspect they came the easier ones.

Michelle and I enjoyed the community of people and music visiting this height.  We ate our packed lunch and drank a bunch of water.  Sadly neither of us enjoyed a rational place to take a pee.  Those tasks required some subversion.  Oh well.  Going back was a no brainer.  Down it was, all the way.  Down on the trail was nowhere near as exciting as up.  In fact we wound up walking alongside the highway.  I think I can find a better way down.  Epic Day, simple climb, more later
